Advisory Services

Purpose1st Financial provides two primary categories of advisory service:

INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT

We provide continuous, discretionary investment management tailored to each client's objectives, time horizon, risk tolerance, and liquidity needs. Clients are placed in one of three Purpose Portfolios:

  • Foundation — Capital preservation with an emphasis on high-quality fixed income and income-oriented investments. Suited for shorter time horizons and lower risk tolerance.
  • Pathway — A balanced allocation combining equities and fixed income for steady, long-term progress. Suited for medium- to long-term objectives.
  • Vision — Growth-oriented with heavier equity allocation across domestic, international, and emerging markets. Suited for extended time horizons and higher risk tolerance.

FINANCIAL PLANNING

We provide comprehensive financial planning covering retirement, cash flow, debt management, estate planning, insurance, tax strategy, college savings, employee benefits, and business planning. Clients receive a written or electronic financial plan addressing their stated goals.

We do not participate in wrap fee programs.

FINANCIAL PLANNING FEES

Financial planning is offered on a flat-fee basis with a minimum fee of $2,500. The full fee is due in advance, prior to the commencement of the planning process. Fees may vary based on the complexity and scope of services.

ADDITIONAL COSTS

Our advisory fees are exclusive of brokerage commissions, transaction fees, custodial charges, and internal fund expenses (such as ETF expense ratios). These costs are borne by the client and are in addition to our advisory fee. We do not accept compensation for the sale of securities or investment products.

We do not offer performance-based fees.

Client Eligibility

Purpose1st Financial provides services to individuals and high-net-worth individuals. A minimum of $250,000 in investable assets is required to establish an advisory relationship.

Please note: unless a client has received this firm brochure at least 48 hours prior to signing an investment advisory contract, the contract may be terminated within five (5) business days of signing without incurring any advisory fees.

Custodian

Purpose1st Financial does not maintain custody of client assets. We recommend Charles Schwab and Co., Inc. ("Schwab"), a registered broker-dealer and member SIPC, as the qualified custodian for all asset classes. We are independently owned and operated and are not affiliated with Schwab.

Clients will receive quarterly account statements directly from Schwab. We urge all clients to carefully review custodial statements and compare them to any reports provided by our firm.

Investment Approach and Risk

Our primary methods of investment analysis include fundamental, technical, cyclical, and charting analysis. We take a macro, top-down approach, evaluating broad economic trends, interest rates, inflation, currency dynamics, and global conditions rather than focusing solely on individual securities.

All investment strategies involve risk, including the possible loss of principal. Material risks include:

  • Market risk — general market declines may reduce portfolio value
  • Interest rate risk — rising rates typically reduce bond prices
  • Inflation risk — erosion of purchasing power over time
  • Currency risk — overseas investments subject to exchange rate fluctuations
  • Concentration risk — focused positions may increase volatility
  • Liquidity risk — certain securities may be difficult to sell quickly
  • Emerging market risk — heightened political and economic uncertainty
  • Legislative and regulatory risk — changes in law may impact investment values

Past performance is not indicative of future results. Clients should discuss all risks with Purpose1st Financial before entering into an advisory relationship.
